Celebrate!

Well, it's no secret that we love a reason to have a party, but with our recent addition to the family we reduced the guest list to just family. So, we hope you all feel a part of the celebrations as Emerson turned 3 and we honored the awesome fathers in our lives.

Yes, that is a Hannah Montana balloon you see...
Emerson just had to have a Hannah Montana
birthday thanks to a Target ad she saw.

So we went with a pink guitar cake
to fit the theme.

...and a new guitar for the birthday girl. She didn't waste anytime before her first concert and since then she has been writing her own songs, with Daddy's help.

...then it was outside to try out the new T ball set.

Just another party, a tea party with Reese. Emme is going to make her play with her no matter how old she is.

A tie cake for her Daddy to present him with an actual tie clip for Fathers Day.

Emme and Papa were ready to go play with their new mitts.

Good catch!

My good catch!

What a beautiful day!

Daddy and his girls... Happy Father's Day Anson!
I'm so thankful to have such an awesome dad for our 2 girls, we are so blessed!

Our Girls!

Reese Ann Sexton
Wednesday, June 3, 2009
4:27 p.m.
7 pounds 4 ounces

We are now the extremely proud parents of two beautiful, sweet girls. The only way to describe Emerson's reaction to seeing Reese for the first time is giddy with love and excitement. I don't think she could believe her eyes, her sister was finally here and in Emme's world I'm sure 9 months seemed more like 3 years. So, now we are all healthy, home and enjoying the new addition to our family. I can't stop staring at those full lips, dimples, and all that hair. Reese is just the perfect fit at the perfect time from our perfect God!

Walking & Waiting!

I thought I would put up some of our favorite Disneyland pictures since it is now such a big part of our family time and a cheap, special outing. We are blessed, like so many Orange Countians, to have passes this year and it has been so much fun. Although I can't go on most of the rides it has been a blast watching Emerson's face light up and to hear her scream on rides like Hermie, (which is the slowest, most boring thing ever). I have to say that I am very proud of my almost 3 year old little girl. Last week she went on the Toon Town coaster with Anson as I stood nervously by to see if I could catch the expression on her face as it whipped around. She loved it! So, we have a little roller coaster rider on our hands. Disneyland has also become a great source for a lot of walking in my final days of pregnancy. We have been a few times lately just to get me movin' and hope that Reese gets the hint. Only 4 more days until her due date but seriously, any time is just fine little girl! Hopefully the next post will have pictures of our new baby girl.
